Wheels update – coating on hold :-(

Well what a couple of months we’ve had here at Fuerte Bici.

As some of our customers are well aware, we’ve been having lots of problems with our suppliers. After being so good last year, they’ve been really disappointing this year – sending the wrong things, not supplying when they said they were going to, and even a few quality issues – which fortunately we’ve spotted (all our wheels are checked before being despatched).

So, we’ve had to search around for new suppliers, as they clearly couldn’t keep up with us.

We’re now at the stage where things are getting moving again – the first samples are lookng good – we have a couple of sets of 50mm tubs in with a matte finish, and built on ‘Chosen’ hubs. Clinchers will be following on soon!

We’ll be getting some up to date images of the wheels on the site soon.

I personally would like to apologise to all those customers who have experienced delays – thank you for remaining patient – hopefully the little rewards we sent out made up for the wait in some small way.

We do have a few sets of wheels in at the moment, so please drop us an enquiry to see if we can meet your needs!

One of the side effects of not getting the supply, is that we have not been able to put the quantity through to Zircotec to get the ceramic coating on the wheels – so for the moment, this option is not available. We are working hard to get it sorted though.
